Thank you Steven for your continuing efforts to honor flight crews who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Your dedication to finding those crews from the past is remarkable.
Sandy- We, the Muddy Angels, are working hard to keep the awareness alive and continue to honor those who have lost their lives-long after others may have forgotten them.
We will continue our quest for both the improvement and the increased safety standards needed for both air medical and ground medical EMS professionals.
I want you to know that I believe Erin's spirit (along with Lois's, Steve's and many others) were with me the day of Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park (Day 5). When I didn't think I could go on any further-between the pain and the tears and the 40 miles of uphill climbing-I could feel the air (I told myself it was from their Angel Wings) pushing me at my back and keeping me upright and moving up those hills for the 8 1/2 hours it took me to make it (finally) to the top.
